Looks Like the Oilers Will Dress Their Tough Line-Up
The Oilers and Panthers played each other eight days ago. In that game Taylor Hall got drilled by Erik Gudbranson and Matt Hendricks tried to put Aaron Ekblad through the boards, a play for which he was given a three-game suspension. Perhaps it's just a coincidence that the Oilers are giving Anton Lander the night off tonight, playing Luke Gazdic in his place, or perhaps with a line-up that also includes Zack Kassian the Oilers are making sure they've got their big guys available should they need them.
Hall-Draisaitl-Purcell, Pouliot-RNH-Eberle, Kassian-Letestu-Yakupov, Gazdic-Hendricks-Pakarinen...Lander out. Korpikoski not on ice

Talbot Starts Again
Cam Talbot gets the start for the Oilers again tonight. In his last ten starts, dating back to the Oilers last game before the Christmas break, Talbot has a 0.941 save percentage and has held the opposition to fewer than three goals on seven occasions. In those same ten games the Oilers have a 4-4-2 record which tell you that they're not giving Talbot a whole lot of offensive support right now.
