How about Lubomir Visnovsky? One of the best defenders to grace the Oilers jersey in the modern era, he also kicked analytical ass:

He was an 87th percentile WAR player at THIRTY-GODDAMN-EIGHT years old. Contrast that to our newest 38-year-old D:
