Not much else to say this morning about the Oilers. They are run by a bunch of clowns and they deserve to languish tiers below where they should be at this stage of Connor McDavid’s career.

Plaintiff lawyer Susan Loggans told me today that after allegations were taken to team mgmt in May 2010, a few CHI players began bullying her client and making horrible homophobic slurs during practice & in locker room.
At this point it’s pretty hard to reconcile details like this with the Oilers acquiring Duncan Keith, an assistant captain on those Chicago teams and very probably involved in all of this shit.
It’s hard to reconcile not one of the media members here — to say nothing of the embarrassingly paltry coverage by the national media — pressing either Keith or Ken Holland during their media availabilities. Keith was asked briefly but was then permitted to change the conversation. I don’t think Holland’s been asked about it at all.
Fuck that.
Release the names of every player and staff member complicit and make sure they never play or work in the NHL ever again.
