Oilers stay perfect in Ottawa after their 9th (!!!) straight victory over the #Senators. PLUS: The G,B, & U, the Oilers at 5v5, and MORE!

The Oilers won last night, so that’s good. They also got outshot 2:1 by the clear worst team in the division and relied on 39 saves from a 39 year old to get the job done. They played Kailer Yamamoto less than 10 minutes total, and still couldn’t find a game for Evan Bouchard. That’s bad.

They still haven’t added any help for the playoff run, will still almost certainly lose a series to TOR and MTL and are maybe a 51-49 favorite against Winnipeg. That’s bad.

The team isn’t good enough, still, and people should be getting fired for it. This will only be the fifth time in over thirty years they’ll win more than half their games in a season.

I’m so tired.
