Oilers win the most awkwardly scheduled game in hockey history yesterday, go again today at a more reasonable hour. PLUS: With NYI trading for Palmieri, the list of teams in for Taylor Hall shrinks... and: MORE!

Morning, folks!

A quick turnaround awaits our heroes as they’re back in action again this evening against those very same Ottawa Senators they haven’t lost to yet this season.

Last night was more of the same, as 4 points by each of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl — including a hat trick for the latter — powered the Oilers to regulation victory over a seemingly better Marcus Hogberg.

After this one, Edmonton gets Calgary on Saturday night before a couple of scheduled games against the Vancouver Canucks that, if I were to wager, won’t be played. What that means for Edmonton next week remains to be seen.

One of the bigger trade targets was dealt last night, meaning the list of teams in for Taylor Hall is shorter by 1. Might Ken Holland get off his ass and do something?! The Oilers won’t be playing Ottawa come playoff time. No guarantees.

Episode IV: The Kenpire’s Quite Whack

(IDK what I’m going to do when we get past Episode IX or however many Star Wars’ there are now.)

Join our heroic hosts this week as they bask in the glory of another win over those hapless, helpless Calgary Flames. Then stay awhile and listen to Preston, Shona, and Corey form tackle some of the bigger stories from the week that was, Oscar Klefbom’s return, and some rumors from everybody’s favorite lasagna loving cat.
