SBN Counterpart: Silver Seven Sens
The Edmonton Oilers, 2-1-1 in their last 4 GP but perhaps not quite on song lately, head to Ottawa to take on a still bad Senators outfit that’s won two straight over the Montreal Canadiens and Winnipeg Jets. At 3PM MST. In the afternoon. On a Wednesday.
Three’s a Crowd Pleaser
My favourite fact about this 7-0 EDM run vs OTT this year is that the Oilers have scored three straight goals at one point in EVERY game.

Sounds like Turris coming in for Haas. Koskinen starts today. @LouDeBrusk @GenePrincipe @JShannonhl and I on @Sportsnet at 3pm MT.
Can they go off for an eighth straight game? Honestly basically every one of these Sens game has seen the Oilers win at a canter, and I’m not sure how every other team doesn’t absolutely crap kick them, too. McDavid’s been a bit quiet on the old scoreboard of late — relatively, of course — so it might be one of those nights where he makes up for lost time.
Paid the Koskinen to be the Boss Again
Koskinen goes for the Oilers today.

In a nice change of pace, Mikko Koskinen will be put in a position to succeed this afternoon. Let’s hope he takes advantage of it.
Do it Already
I went and watched a handful of BUF games this year because why not and Taylor Hall looks… good. His feet are still there, he’s still explosive, and he’s still able to flash some dynamic elements.

It’s just that suddenly he’s somehow become the league’s worst shooter. https://t.co/a1OihksMbm

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
Episode IV: The Kenpire’s Quite Whack
(IDK what I’m going to do when we get past Episode IX or however many Star Wars’ there are now.)
Join our heroic hosts this week as they bask in the glory of another win over those hapless, helpless Calgary Flames. Then stay awhile and listen to Preston, Shona, and Corey form tackle some of the bigger stories from the week that was, Oscar Klefbom’s return, and some rumors from everybody’s favorite lasagna loving cat.
