Oilers drop (another) one to a Habs team that appears to have them figured out, as Edmonton’s puzzling (read: disappointing) record against even decent teams continues.

Morning, folks!

Well, if you thought last night’s Third Period Choke II: The Chokening was cause for me to go absolutely off on Dave Tippett and Ken Holland this morning, well, you’d be right.

But here’s the M. Night Shyamalan-ian twist: I don’t give a shit.

Dave Tippett, once again, was outcoached in a game his boss’ bad-turned-amazing bet Mike Smith — who is in the midst of an extremely rare late-career renaissance — helped stake them to a 2-0 lead with 20 minutes to play anyway, and they still couldn’t win.

You might have hope that these men will figure it out. I’m convinced they won’t, and that any success they do have as a team will be in spite of them. As it has been and will, apparently, always be around here.

Could. You. Fucking. Imagine?!
