Oilers come up short against the one team you absolutely hate to see them lose to. PLUS: Whose leg does Evan Bouchard have to hump to get a dry martini around here? AND: MORE!

Morning, folks.

Sorry for the late recap last night, one of those games I couldn’t be bothered to start it during the intermissions so it wasn’t ready until most of you were probably in bed, trying to sleep off the disappointment of what you just watched.

Has anyone seen Evan Bouchard lately? Were I his family I might be inclined to ask for some proof of life at this point.

Not sure why Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl were ran into the dirt in a game which, honestly, doesn’t really matter. The Oilers are better off playing the Winnipeg Jets than the Montreal Canadiens anyway so I’m not sure why they’re so concerned with trying to catch Toronto.

But, I digress. These Oilers still demand big nights from either Connor McDavid or Mike Smith to win games. Oftentimes, both. When they get neither, it’s almost a guarantee they lose.

Here’s to a summer of getting better than that.

Episode 8: The Fast Jedi

(I’m losing steam here.)

The Oilers split a playoff-like series against the Canadiens, Ryan McLeod’s set to make his NHL debut, Oscar Klefbom could be exempt in the expansion draft, and much, much more in this week’s episode of the CB Podcast!
