THREE (and a half) THINGS TO LOOK FOR
Nurse / Bear on the top pair. Nice.
- Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is back in the lineup after missing the last four games with an undisclosed injury. Whether or not he’s on the top line with Jesse Puljujärvi and Connor McDavid, or whether he’s on the second line in place of Gaetan Haas, the Oilers will get a much needed top six jolt back into the lineup. Can he make an impact on the scoresheet tonight?
- Mike Smith is looking to make it 17 wins on the season after picking up win number 16 on Monday night. Smith turned aside 22 of 23 total shots from the Canadiens, can he turn in another solid performance tonight?
- Jake Allen will get the nod once again for the Habs after Carey Price left early on Monday with an upper body injury. The Oilers solved him in the third period of last game, will the Oilers be able to solve him early on tonight?
Let’s get at ‘er.
