THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR
- On the surface, it looks like these are two clubs going in different directions. The Canadiens haven’t scored a whole lot of goals, while the Oilers just shutout Winnipeg on Saturday night. The Oilers can’t get lulled into a false sense of security though. Montréal has scored 3 or more goals just once in their last seven. Will the trend continue for the Habs?
- Ryan Nugent-Hopkins could be back before too long, but with the top line stacked it gives another chance to Gaetan Haas at 2C. It’s been five weeks since Haas scored a goal, why not tonight?
- Mike Smith goes for number 16 in the win column tonight. Sure, why not?
