The Oilers are coming off their ninth win in nine tries against Ottawa this past Thursday night. Tonight, the Battle of Alberta heats up one more time as the Oilers try to inch closer to the top of the North Division. Can the Oilers keep the good times rolling with another win tonight?

THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR

  • Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has been placed on IR with an undisclosed injury retroactive to Wednesday. With that, it looks like Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid will be split up again. Who will sit in for RNH on line one, and will they gel?
  • Mike Smith looks for his 15th win of the season as he gets the start for Edmonton tonight. Smith has been found money so long as he’s been healthy this year. Can he help bring the groceries home for the Oilers tonight?
  • The Oilers are playing their fourth in six nights, the Flames haven’t played a game since their loss to the Leafs on Monday. Will Calgary show any signs of rust?

Let’s make this happen.
