The Canucks are idle until at least April 6th as several team members remain in Covid-19 protocol. Along with yesterday’s scheduled contest against Calgary, the Canucks will miss at least their next three. This includes Saturday’s matchup against Edmonton.
While the Oilers now have an open slot on Saturday night, they will still face the Calgary Flames tomorrow night at home. Edmonton is expected to hit the road after this weekend to take on the Montréal Canadiens on Monday, followed by two games against the Ottawa Senators later in the week.
Like the Canadiens games that were postponed last week, it is expected that this Canucks game will be rescheduled in the near future. After missing last night’s contest against Calgary, the Canucks are expected to miss this Saturday’s contest against Edmonton and a pair of games against Winnipeg next week.
