Sorry for going the rest of last week without Links, after the Oilers’ schedule was freed up I took the opportunity to sleep in for a couple mornings. It was excellent and I regret nothing.
Since we last spoke, the Oilers blew a third period lead, the feds are set to reduce quarantine time for NHL players being traded from US-based teams, Preston floated the excellent and almost mandatory idea of bringing Taylor Hall back for a push this season, and the Oilers’ missing games against Montreal appear to have been sorted — the first of which goes tomorrow night on their way back West.
