Oilers beat Jets in regulation, move into a tie with Leafs for first in the North Division. PLUS: Kassian’s fit, Barrie, and MORE!

Morning, folks!

Hope you woke with the spring in your step afforded to someone when their favorite hockey club is tied for the Peter North Division lead.

Edmonton wasn’t spectacular, but their superstarriest superstar was, and their goaltender was excellent. A couple other guys had good nights — Ethan Bear, I’m looking at you — but it wasn’t necessarily a standout game. But it was a professional enough job and its hard to pile onto them given the circumstances.

Edmonton gets a day off before getting right back to work tomorrow night against those same Jets.
