I spend very little time listening to Oilers Now, but when the tidbits cross my consciousness I can’t help but pay attention, and usually can’t help but have a minor cardiac episode.

Meanwhile, everyone and their stupid mother seems to be convinced by the Tyson Barrie experience. Only in Edmonton would so many people be so fooled by something so obvious.
The problem is, it appears the Oilers are included in that group of people. As it has been now for most of my adult life.
Don't mind me I'll just be pulling these conversations up in the future to dunk on people when the #Oilers commit $12MM+ to Nurse and Barrie for the next three years and don't win shit.

The narrative that Ethan Bear and Caleb Jones have been bad this year is overblown. Whenever both of them are on-ice, most of their teammates become better and spend more time in the offensive zone.
