Morning, folks!

A bit late this morning, my bad, but every once in awhile you’ve just gotta roll your whole body onto the alarm and smother it to death. A couple days of twitter discussions about the foolishness of trading Ethan Bear or Caleb Jones for Jake DeBrusk will do that to you. The foolishness of reading that Tyson Barrie should be a key part of this club next year and beyond will do that to you. Reading that Tyson Barrie is their best RD somehow will do that to you.

I’m so tired.

I do bring some of this on myself, as Jeff notes in our DMs sometimes when he’s like, “Hey, relax.” I did put out that I think they should be looking to move Nurse. That always invites a ton of opinions despite my general desire to avoid them.

Maybe we’ll all make better decisions after losing an hour this weekend. It will be a busy one for us and our heroes, with the first of two in two nights going tonight before the Oilers hit the road for the first time in a fortnight tomorrow.
