Morning, folks!

We feeling funky this morning? Hard not to have a bit of mojo flowing when the Oilers are out here pistol whipping the SXSW North Division to the tune of five straight wins. One extremely nice thing about going on a winning streak in this particular division is the real and tangible satisfaction one gets from seeing other Canadian teams lose. The only Canadian team that matters is my Canadian team.

Love seeing Caleb Jones continue to acquit himself with another solid showing in limited minutes. Love less how he’s being treated like the true rookie Evan Bouchard is and not the top four left D that Dave Tippett thinks Kris Russell is. But, hey, he’s in again. That’s part of the battle.

Jesse Puljujarvi scored on the PP I hoped he would. Take that, Antoine Roussell.

And there’s this:

Really makes you think. Holland trading Mike Smith for Schmiddy is maybe the best thing he’s ever done, Stanley Cups included.

Enjoy your weekend. Stay rolling. See you Saturday. LFG.
