Hey, folks!
The Chicago hockey team scheduled a press conference for 1PM today to detail the findings from the investigation surrounding the Brad Aldrich case. Expectations are low, overall, in terms of how they will handle it, but ESPN’s Emily Kaplan suggests that organizational changes could be coming:
The Blackhawks have really locked things down ahead of today’s 1pm CT press conference, announcing the findings of the investigation into the team’s handling of Brad Aldrich.

However one source told me not to be surprised by big organizational changes in Chicago’s front office.
UPDATE(S):
Hearing #Blackhawks Sr. VP of Hockey Ops Al MacIsaac will be departing the organization as part of the investigation findings.

Fuck them, and fuck everyone else who was party to this. I’m talking staff, coaches, players — looking at you, Duncan — media, everyone. Fuck every single one of them and, lastly, fuck the NHL.
In Oilers news, SN’s Mark Spector wrote another absolute classic this morning. It’s unbelievable. Very ‘Adam Larsson’s Oilers winning games Taylor Hall’s never could’ vibes.
Otherwise, the Oilers have one more sleep — I know — before they return to action tomorrow night at home against the Philadelphia Flyers. Jeff had a chat with Kelly of SBN’s Broad Street Hockey to get the low down.
The Podcast crew faced some scheduling issues ahead of this week’s episode, but have just released their latest episode — The Quest for 82-0-0. Have a listen when you’ve got a few minutes.
