Second star honours go to Connor McDavid this week.

The Oilers are a perfect 5-0 to open their season, and Connor McDavid is just doin’ Connor McDavid things.

Things, like this goal against the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night.

McDavid picks up a pass from Leon Draisaitl and makes it look effortless against Ducks goaltender Anthony Stolarz. McDavid would have two helpers during this game to make it a three point night. The Oilers would topple the Ducks by a 6-5 margin.

Things, like scoring his 200th career NHL goal. He’d later score his 201st career goal in this game, a 5-1 victory over the Arizona Coyotes. McDavid would pick up an assist in this game, giving him a three point night.

The next night, McDavid would put up two helpers, including this helper to Zach Hyman.

McDavid would have both primary assists on Hyman’s goals. The Oilers would defeat the struggling Golden Knights by a 5-3 score to keep a perfect 5-0-0 record to start the year.

Connor McDavid has put up thirteen points (6-7-13) in just five games this year.

What’s next for the best player in the world? Philadelphia on Wednesday.
