Mid-morning, folks!

Hope you had a good weekend. You can bet the Edmonton Oilers did. After getting out of T-Mobile Arena with all the points and a perfect 5-0-0 record, the team stuck around in Las Vegas for a couple days to do a little team bonding.

This was Edmonton’s first stateside road trip since the COVID-19 pandemic. What better way to take advantage of a four-night break — and celebrate their early-season success — than Las Vegas?

Stories abound surrounding one of the NHL’s few remaining undefeated teams, but I’ll let the links speak for themselves and you talk amongst yourselves. Edmonton’s off until Wednesday night when they host the Philadelphia Flyers.
