LOOKING FOR TWO
The Oilers didn’t play the prettiest game on Wednesday night, but they secured the bag long enough to get two points. They’ll try to bring their record to .500 with a second win in a row against the Maple Leafs tonight,
LINES
No lines til warmups today
THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR
- The Maple Leafs are without Joe Thornton (ribs) and Auston Matthews (upper body) tonight. Matthews (and the rest of the Leafs) were limited to just one goal in their game on Wednesday, can the Oilers take advantage of a sub-optimal Leafs first line?
- James Neal is expected to be back in the lineup tonight. If he is, he’ll likely be on the top power play in place of Alex Chiasson. Neal scored 12 power play goals in 2019-20, Chiasson has yet to score a point in five games so far this season.
- Mikko Koskinen looks to pick up his third win of the season after a solid effort on Wednesday. Koskinen turned aside 25 of 26 Leaf shots, the Oilers will only go so far as Mikko will take them.
Let’s. Go. Oilers.
