Morning, folks!

It’s GAMEDAY, so you know the drill. See you ALL DAY. I also just don’t have too much to say in advance of this one. The Oilers have an opportunity to move to 0.500 for the first time since G2 tonight in Toronto against a Leafs outfit that might be without Auston Matthews.

That’s obviously good news for the Oilers, perhaps especially so, now that Devin Shore has proven capable of keeping John Tavares and William Nylander in his back pocket all night.

The Oilers won’t have to worry about those Tavares minutes as long as Devin Shore is on the case, is what I’m saying. They’ll just have to worry about their two MVPs winning minutes against the animated corpse of Jason Spezza and other favorable matchups.

I like their chances.

(Chances are they shit in their pants now that I dared to believe in them.)

Time will tell.
