We’re gonna keep it short and we’re gonna keep it sweet. Mornings after losses suck.
I have remarked at various points this young season that I enjoy the MLB-like two-game series format, but that’ll change pretty quickly if the Oilers continue not winning them.
Another game in which they were quite comfortably the second-best team thanks, in part, to what could only be classified as obviously the most likely outcome when you purposefully take out your best defenseman.
I don’t know about you guys, but Tippett can’t make too many more obviously horrible decisions like that before I start to lose my patience for him in the role.
Look, I know he knows better than me. Whatever. I get that. It doesn’t make his decision last night any less atrocious. In a 56-game season, in year 6 (!!!) of Connor McDavid, they can’t afford any atrocious decisions.
Last night was on the coach. It felt like G1 against Chicago all over again.
