Devin Shore has signed a one year deal with the Oilers.
Two weeks ago, Shore signed a professional try-out with the club. Fourteen days later, he’s got himself a deal. Shore inked a one year, two-way deal that will see him make 700K at the NHL level. Shore was placed on waivers after signing his deal.
A depth forward, Shore forward who can play all three positions. He split his 2019-20 season between Anaheim and Columbus, finishing the year with 12 points in 45 games. He suited up for two playoff games against Tampa Bay. A former second round pick for the Dallas Stars in the 2012 Entry Draft, his best seasons were 33 and 32 point campaigns in 2016-17 and 2017-18.
Shore earned a two year deal from the Stars after two years of 30+ points. Stints in Anaheim and Columbus would follow before signing a PTO with the Oilers just two weeks ago.
