With just two more sleeps until 2021 regular season action, some more roster movement.

The club has placed the following players on waivers:
The Oilers have waived five more players from the main camp roster.
Jujhar Khaira, Patrick Russell, Joakim Nygard, Anton Forsberg and Alan Quine have all been waived. This leaves 28 players on the main roster, down from 33 after the club’s first cuts on Saturday. It’s unclear which, if any of these players (outside of Anton Forsberg) will be on the club’s taxi squad, which is required to have a minimum of four (but no more than six) players on it at any time.
2018 first rounder Evan Bouchard is still on the main roster, though there is at least one more wave of roster moves to be made prior to Wednesday’s season opener. Also remaining on the big club: forwards Tyler Benson and Ryan McLeod. McLeod centred the fourth line between Tyler Ennis and Alex Chiasson.
