St. Louis v Edmonton Oilers
Puljujarvi, in the middle of one of those ‘opportunities to shine’ I’ve heard so much about. On a line with Khaira and Caggiula.

Morning, folks!

From the unofficial official Oilers mouthpiece, Oilers Now Host (and 630 CHED color commentator) Bob Stauffer:

Well now.

This might be nothing, but it might be everything. Stauffer doesn’t always get it exactly right, but he’s about as plugged in to the Oilers as any of the MSM guys in the city, so if he says something about a player move it’s worth paying at least a little attention to. It’s, at the very least, encouraging that he’s talking about re-signing Puljujarvi rather than trading him.

Otherwise, not much going on right now. The Tampa Bay Lightning welcomed their captain Steven Stamkos back for game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals last night before soundly beating the Dallas Stars 5-2 to take a 2-1 series lead. Stamkos scored, too. One game, one goal. Pretty cool.

Beyond that? Typical stuff. Rumors, draft previews, etc. Get your fix and we’ll see you bright and early tomorrow.
