Morning, everyone!

It’s hashtag GAMEDAY, with the Calgary Flames (and like 25 other teams) in town to take on the Edmonton Oilers tonight in exhibition action.

Jeff did his best trying to get the worm this morning with a GAME PREVIEW for tonight’s contest up and published before I even rolled out of bed. Head over there to get acquainted with the main stories heading into the game.

Two other games dot the NHL schedule tonight, too, with the battle of Pennsylvania at 2PM MST before the Leafs and Canadiens square off at 5PM.

Oilers head coach Dave Tippett spoke to the media about a number of topics yesterday, including his plans for tonight’s game and first impressions from the Rogers Place bubble.

News broke yesterday that Oilers GM Ken Holland has been in contact with Jesse Puljujarvi’s agent Markus Lehto multiple times over the past few weeks. It sounds like might be trying to bring Jesse back.

Sunil Agnihotri joined the CBC’s Alberta at Noon radio program on Monday afternoon and discussed the NHL’s return to play plan.

Leon Draisaitl added another trophy nomination to his resume yesterday when it was announced that he was the Oilers’ nominee for the King Clancy Award. Her Big Nuts could potentially take down FIVE trophies this summer, not including the Stanley Cup (which he WILL take down this summer).

There’s been a lot of verbiage about Philip Broberg this summer. Is he on track to be a top-pair guy like Evan Bouchard appears to be?
