Morning, folks!
We’re getting back into the swing of things this week with the NHL taking another step toward resumption. Teams were allowed to open their facilities yesterday for small group work, and Edmonton was no exception.
Matt Benning, Kris Russell, and Tyler Benson were among the Oilers on Rogers Place ice yesterday for the first time since early March.
Training camps are tentatively scheduled (like everything in the future right now) to open in full by mid-July.
Oilers Captain Connor McDavid headlines the PHWA’s list of Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy nominees. It’s no surprise, given McDavid’s brilliance this season after suffering a horrific knee injury on the last game of last season.
The inimitable content machine Lowetide took a look down the line at every single Oilers prospect — yes, every single one — and tried to project “What’s Next?” for each of them.
