Hey folks!

Big day for the Edmonton Oilers yesterday as Kevin Lowe, a man of significant history with the club was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame some 20 years of eligibility.

Lowe’s induction is likely a lot of things to a lot of people, but one thing’s for sure: it is his now and nobody can take that away from him. Congratulations to Kevin Lowe.

Current Oilers GM Ken Holland joined his fellow OEG exec in the 2020 Induction class, which also included first-ballot entrants Jarome Iginla and Marian Hossa, former Olympic mainstay Kim St. Pierre, and Sharks GM (and Norris winner) Doug Wilson.

Congratulations to all of the new HHOF members.

How should the defensemen be deployed against Chicago?

Looking at Ken Holland’s past to predict his 2020 Draft strategy.

Word out of Finland is that Jesse Puljujarvi has yet to negotiate a new contract with Karpat. Might that mean he’s eyeing a return to North America?

Friedman suggests there could be a snag with the remaining Canadian cities’ NHL Hub bids in the latest 31 Thoughts podcast.
