Morning, folks!

At some point I’ll probably revert back to getting these up on time, but I haven’t woken up to an alarm in almost 60 days. I’m sorry, but I’m also very much not.

Corey released the third in his “Gretzky Index” series of articles. This one, the Pronger Index, sets to find the best Oilers lineup from players who played less than 82 regular season games with the team.

Lowetide takes a bit of a dive into G Ilya Konovalov’s KHL career. The young netminder has one more year left on his KHL contract, and could be in Edmonton camp by Fall 2021.

Since Konovalov’s still at least a year away, who might be a good backup (or, starter) for (or, over) Mikko Koskinen?

Kevin Lowe’s HHOF case was being discussed online over the weekend. While opinion seems to be split-ish, the conversation began to pivot to the Oilers’ rafters. Should he have his number retired in Edmonton?

Georges Laraque provides some insight into what life with COVID-19 has been like for him.

Word from ‘The District’ is that the Edmonton Oilers have officially thrown their hat in the ring to be an hub city for the NHL’s resumption plan. I also, cannot get on board, but that conversation is most certainly happening.

What are Tyler Benson’s chances of making the Edmonton Oilers next season? What about Cooper Marody’s?

Some of the members of the NHL’s Team of the Century — the 1985 Edmonton Oilers — weigh in on which iteration of their dynasty was the best. Not all agree with the NHL’s assessment.

The NHL continues to be stupid, positing a June draft before the 2019-20 season resumes or is completed one way or another.

Remember Todd McFarlane’s third jersey? The Athletic does.

Flames’ heel of shit Matthew Tkachuk thought, for sure, he was going to Edmonton. Then Columbus picked Pierre-Luc Dubois.

If Wayne Gretzky could, he’d play on a line with Alex Ovechkin and Connor McDavid today.

On Friday, the Oilers made official something we’ve expected for some time now: the signing of D Filip Berglund to a two-year ELC.

Gear up for another week, folks. They’re about to open up the province again and it’s probably gonna get weird out there soon.
