Hey, Oilers fans! Let’s dive right in:

Should the Oilers look at a buy out? If so, who might be the best candidate for it?

Lowetide dove into Tyler Wright’s interviews from Draft Days Previous to get a better idea of the philosophies behind some of his decisions.

Connor McDavid is the heart and soul of the Edmonton Oilers, even if, this year, someone else was the Art and Ross of the Edmonton Oilers. But no matter, Connor McDavid came back from a devastating knee injury to sit among the league’s top scorers for the entirety of the season. What he did this year was no less impressive, and the rest of the NHL should be filling their collective diapers that Blade Sprinter 2097 got an extra couple months to heal up.

Looking at the roster as it is, what do the Oilers need most out of the 2020 Draft?

Robert Clark, the Edmonton Oilers anthem singer, is encouraging men struggling with their mental health to seek help.

Who has the best odds to win the Stanley Cup?

Ken Holland addressed the media yesterday, and doesn’t have a problem with the Oilers having to face a play-in series, and is hopeful that the best is yet to come after a mostly positive season for his charges.

The tale of the tape between the Oilers and Blackhawks suggests that Edmonton does indeed hold an advantage over Chicago.

As of yet, there is still no resolution from the NHL regarding outstanding trade and bonus conditions. We assume that, because the season is over, the Oilers keep the pick from the James Neal trade, but we don’t know for sure. There is also the question of player bonuses, like Mike Smith’s. The Oilers might be incurring a bonus penalty or two for next season.

All in all, there are no dates of any kind yet, but there are certainly moves being made to get the NHL season resumed sooner rather than later. We’ll keep you posted.
