This news is not welcome news.
Colby Cave has been placed in a medically-induced coma after suffering a brain bleed overnight. He is currently in a Toronto hospital at this time.
Cave is just 25 years of age.
Cave had a spell with the Oilers earlier in the 2019-20 season where he scored a beauty goal against Pittsburgh in early November.
We are wishing the absolute best for Colby Cave and hope for a speedy recovery.
UPDATE: #Oilers & @Condors forward Colby Cave is out of emergency surgery at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. Doctors removed a colloid cyst that was causing pressure on his brain.
