Four goals and four assists helped power the #Oilers to a 3-1-0 record in four games last week.

Leon Draisaitl was named the NHL’s Third Star for the week ending March 8, 2020. The league’s leading scorer has shown no signs of slowing down after being named the league’s First Star for the entire month of February. His 4-4-8 (4GP) helped keep the Oilers near the top of the Pacific Division and helped keep him some distance from second place in the league’s scoring race.

Draisaitl’s impressive week began with a four goal, five point outburst in Nashville. A point on the Oilers only goal at even strength in Dallas followed before the Good Doctor collected two more points (both assists) in a losing effort in Chicago. Draisaitl failed to register a point against Columbus on Saturday night, snapping his four-game point streak.

Draisaitl is currently the clear favorite for the Art Ross, and has gained enough ground to be the current odds-on favorite for the coveted Hart Trophy as per Sports Betting Dime.

Mika Zibanejad (7-0-7 in 3GP) and Gabriel Landeskog (3-6-9 in 4GP) were named the league’s First and Second stars this week.
