A slow news day. Every team but the Boston Bruins has committed to pay their event staff one way or another. We’re still waiting for the Bruins to announce more details about how they plan to help. The Oilers might be getting a fourth jersey, and (slightly, barely) MORE!

Morning, folks!

With Vegas announcing their intentions yesterday morning about how they plan to step up for their event staff, the Boston Bruins now sit alone on an island as the only NHL team to NOT announce a plan to pay their affected event staff.

A look at the Oilers’ defense.

As per Icethetics, the Oilers are apparently in line to get a fourth jersey. Start speculating.

That’s it. That’s the news.

So the next question is - what video games (and systems) are you playing to keep sane during the pandemic? I’m in the process of building out a new PC to replace my c. 2011 machine and resume my Rocket League journey to grand champion. If anyone wants to fly around and smash a giant ball with a rocket-powered car, you just let me know.

Otherwise - there are, of couse, deep dives to be done. If there are any in particular you’re anxious to read about, please do let us know in the comments.

Past that? Stay safe this weekend. Keep the virus contained. Keep your filthy hands away from your as filthy faces. We’ll see you on Monday.
