Mike Green to Miss 3-4 Weeks

New, comments

One of Ken Holland’s latest acquisitions suffered an MCL sprain in a collision in the Oilers’ loss to Las Vegas.

When will it end?! The Oilers have been ravaged by injuries over the last few weeks, with Connor McDavid (returned this week), Oscar Klefbom, Kailer Yamamoto, James Neal, and Andreas Athanasiou headlining an injured list that seems to be growing longer by the second.

Green (3-8-11 in 50GP) collided with Vegas’ Chandler Stephenson just inside the Golden Knight’s blueline late in Wednesday’s 0-3 shutout loss to their division rivals. With Yamamoto and Athanasiou both taking practice on their regular lines, perhaps they’re both objects in your rearview mirror: closer than they appear.

We’ll find out for sure tomorrow when the lineup’s released.
