With Oscar Klefbom headed to injured reserve, the Oilers have called up Evan Bouchard.
Oscar Klefbom will be out with a shoulder injury for at least a couple of weeks. It’s unknown if Bouchard gets a look while he’s in Edmonton, but he’s one step closer.
Bouchard has had himself a fine season in Bakersfield so far. He leads all Condors defencemen in scoring (7-26-33) and is third overall on the club in overall scoring.
Markus Granlund will be returned to the Condors. He played 11:22 since being recalled.
The Oilers will host the Boston Bruins tonight at Rogers Place.
