Oilers look to continue scoring goals while their team Captain rehabs from a quad injury. Tonight, they’ll try to topple a titan in Tampa Bay. The Lightning have won eight straight. Can the Oilers turn out the power?

THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR

  • NO MCDAVID? NO PROBLEM: Leon put up four points, Kailer Yamamoto had a pair of goals. Everything went just fine without their captain. Can they keep turning the red light on tonight in Tampa?
  • LIMITED JUICE: The Lightning have had no trouble putting the puck in the net themselves, but they will be forced to do it tonight without Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov, the top two scorers on the team. Can the Oilers take advantage of some depleted forces?
  • PIPE DREAMS? Mike Smith will look for his 16th win of the season as he starts between the pipes for Edmonton. Can he keep up his recent play?

Let’s. Go. Oilers.
