Morning, folks!

You probably saw already, but yesterday marked our first Top 5 player in our 2020 Top 25 Under 25: Philip Broberg.

Of course, that news paled in comparison against this lovely nugget:

Though, at least in Alberta, new restrictions aimed at curbing the spread of COVID-19 were announced yesterday, and they have at least one person (me) wondering how the NHL is going to square starting in roughly a month if the situation doesn’t improve and those restrictions aren’t eased.

Of course, the new restrictions should help in that regard, but with anything, it will require people to actually follow them. With Christmas just around the bend, that seems like a shaky proposition to me.

I suppose all we can do now is wait, but at least we’re not waiting on the NHL and its PA to find common ground anymore.
