Nothing new to report on the “when the hell is this thing going to kick into gear?” questions, but word on the street is some other prominent NHL players are making their way back to their NHL cities in short order:
#Habs Carey Price's wife, Angela, announced on her latest Instagram story that the family will be heading back to Montréal on Boxing Day and serve their quarantine ahead of the #NHL's expected January start for training camp/regular season.— Priyanta Emrith (@HabsInHighHeels) December 15, 2020
I must admit: arriving on Boxing Day doesn’t seem like a long lead up to January 13. That’s barely enough time to get fitness testing done, and doesn’t include the ‘short quarantine’ portion, either. Is training camp going to be an hour long? Or, is camp starting on January 13? Questions. All I have are questions.
When I do have answers, I’ll be sure to relay them. I’ll be the Bruny Surin to your Donovan Baileys in that regard.
But until then, sit back, relax, pour some Bailey’s — or some Donovan’s — into your coffee this morning and get acquainted with what you may have missed over the last 24 hours.
Til next time.
