The big story yesterday — round these parts, anyway — was D William Lagesson’s extension, which Preston dove into HERE. The details, once more, as per PuckPedia:

A small addendum to the above: Lagesson actually registered another assist yesterday, giving him 3-6-9 in 11GP in Sweden’s second tier.

Not bad at all, and made even better by knowing Lagesson’s cap hit will be less than the league minimum salary ($725k vs $750k) in the second year of the deal. OK, Ken. OK.

Barring perhaps an extension to Ethan Bear, the Oilers are probably done making meaningful changes to the roster before next season.
