Big day south of the border. Wishing our stateside friends the best today.

We’re cobbling together the T25 U25 list behind the curtain and will get to ranking and writing about them shortly.

In the meantime, take a look at Lowetide’s blurb this morning that touches on the prospects and their starts overseas.

Past that, I saw some line combos in the comments to yesterday’s links, and I generally liked what I saw. It feels like they’ll be able to run something very close to this:

Kahun - McDavid - Puljujarvi / Kassian

Nugent-Hopkins - Draisaitl - Yamamoto

Ennis - Turris - Kassian / Puljujarvi

Neal / Archibald - Haas - Chiasson

Extra: Khaira, Nygard

I actually think that Nygard could be preferred to any of the potential 4L wingers, but I’m not sure his coaches agree, and he’s really struggled with injuries in the past few months, so it’s anyone’s guess. Honestly, there’s not too many minutes for them to get this season anyway, so it’s a real nice change around here to be worrying about how to optimize the fourth line because the other three are in relatively good shape.
