Morning, folks!

Busier weekend here in Oil Country, with the big story of today being the Oilers’ new Reverse Retro jersey, released with the other 30 teams’ new threads early this morning. Jeff will have a post going into it a bit further, but here’s what it looks like:

Whoa.

I’ll be honest, I think I prefer the original logo to the dark orange version with the white oil drop. That’s the cleanest Oilers logo there is, and it comes in the team’s traditional colors. For me, it’s quite nice. However, it is NOT better than the traditional whites with the blue shoulders and inverse striping:

But, it’s still pretty good.

I’d have been interested in seeing a Todd MacFarlane jersey in the traditional blue and orange, but this is a fine offering, and among the better new releases if I do say so myself.
