POLL: Oilers Unveil Reverse Retro Jersey

I like them. I think you do too.

The NHL has released their line of “Reverse Retro” jerseys this morning.

The Oilers uniform looks great. Though I’m a big fan of Edmonton’s WHA era uniforms (and while it would have been nice to throw back to the early 1970s to see some shoulder numbers), these are nice. I half expected to see an inverted logo like the one you see here, but this is clean and easy on the eyes. I look forward to seeing the Oilers hit the ice in these for select games in the 2020-21 season...whenever that is.

Every team in the league picked up a reverse retro design. Some teams look much nicer than others. The Avalanche went full retro with their Nordiques jerseys in Avalanche colours. The Blues flipped up their 90s design and went red on top. The Ducks took their 1996 thirds and switched up the colours. The Islanders...well, they did something too.
