Per the Edmonton Oilers official Twitter account:
The #Oilers have agreed to terms on one-year contracts with goaltender Anton Forsberg & forward Alan Quine, as well as a two-year, two-way contract with forward Seth Griffith.@Rogers | #LetsGoOilers

Two more tweeners, both likely to spend most — if not all — of their time in Bakersfield with the Condors. Forsberg did get into 3 NHL games last season for the Carolina Hurricanes, posting a 1-1-0 record with a 0.897 SV%, but only has 48 total NHL GP and will be 28 in November. Forsberg posted a respectable 15-9-2 record with the Charlotte Checkers, but his 0.905 SV% doesn’t blow the doors off. It might be worth noting that last year was his worst season by SV% by a fair bit, and that he’s traditionally been pretty good at the AHL level.
Griffith, a 27 year old right-shot C (28 in January), hasn’t dressed for an NHL game since 2017-18 with the Buffalo Sabres, but has posted solid numbers in the AHL for the last four seasons. Last year, with the Manitoba Moose, Griffith collected 21-20-41 in 58 GP, which looks to be a bit of a down year given he produced 31-69-100 in the 115 games prior.
Neither candidate looks likely to see much, if any, game time with Edmonton, but the veteran group in Bakersfield looks to have gotten better today.
