Morning, everyone.
Honestly, I’m not really sure of the best way to do these this morning. Edmonton lost one of its very best yesterday, and this community will have a Joey Moss sized hole in it for years to come.
I never met the man, but I feel like I knew him. He was a genuine fixture in the Edmonton area, really and truly part of the furniture here. Rest in peace, Joey.
Everyone. Every single one. Loved you.
A man who always gave nothing but his best effort and never complained about anything.. true Hall of Fame caliber locker room attendant, 7th man of @EdmontonOilers dynasty... and what a national anthem singer!

RIP LEGEND JOEY MOSS https://t.co/iyOHcpWM8b
#joeymoss was a fixture in our neighbourhood street hockey games. Here's a picture from Feb 1982 when Joey brought his friend Wayne to play with us for 4 hours. Joey was just really cool and we all loved him.

Joey Moss lifted my spirits every time I entered our facilities at Rexall Arena in Edmonton. He was kind, funny, intelligent, and above all else, loyal. The big guy will be missed by many. pic.twitter.com/Ic1v3XzjoM

#JoeyMoss helped me believe that my son could exceed the low expectations that had been set for him. He gave me the hope I needed. Joey Moss passed away today, but the hope that he gave to me and so many other parents just like me... that’ll live on forever. Thanks, Joey pic.twitter.com/QGfEzMGq4n

There was nothing better than coming off the ice after a huge win to a Joey Moss high five on the bench. His energy and passion for the game were infectious and made you want to come to the rink everyday. He truly was a legend and will be greatly missed. #RIPJoeyMoss #Legend pic.twitter.com/CBpiuwyyCX
