Morning folks!
It’s here. Finally. The Oilers return to action tonight against their provincial and historical rivals, the Calgary Flu Sho Flames.
Calgary holds a slim, one point lead over Edmonton in the standings coming in, with both teams currently holding a playoff spot and looking to start their second halves with a W. Edmonton has two games in hand over Calgary.
Zack Kassian and Matt Tkachuk will meet again for the first time since their dust up last time out, with the hockey world (unfortunately, or otherwise) abuzz with anticipation over what might happen between those two.
It’s Bell Let’s Talk day, so if you haven’t yet, head over to Shona’s piece about mental health that released yesterday. These conversations are always important and it’s certainly worth your time.
Otherwise, I’ll let the links speak for themselves this morning, as many of them are involving tonight’s game and/or Kassian and Tkachuk’s upcoming reintroduction.
Since it is a gameday, however, stay tuned for our gameday coverage being posted throughout the day! See you tonight.
