The Oilers will host the Calgary Flames after making significant roster cuts today. After a lacklustre loss to the Canucks last night, can the team start putting some goals in the net?
LINES
Joakim Nygard - Leon Draisaitl - Zack Kassian
Anton Burdasov - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - Sam Gagner
Jujhar Khaira - Riley Sheahan - Josh Archibald
Markus Granlund - Gaetan Haas - Patrick Russell
Darnell Nurse - Adam Larsson
William Lagesson - Evan Bouchard
Brandon Manning - Ethan Bear
Mikko Koskinen
Shane Starrett
THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR
- Freshly signed PTO Anton Burdasov will see if he can put together a point or two on a line with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Sam Gagner. Burdasov will be in the number 71 sweater, last worn by Lubomir Visnovsky.
- BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN: Mikko Koskinen will get some more time in net tonight after a forgetful campaign last night. Here’s hoping that Koskinen was just kicking off some rust in last night’s loss to the Canucks.
- Fresh off a 50 goal campaign, Leon Draisiatl gets his first preseason action of 2019-20. Will wingman Joakim Nygard get in on the scoring action?
I don’t care if it’s preseason or not. Beat the Flames.
