Morning, folks!

It’s Friday, and the F stands for brieF. Let’s get it. Quickly. I’m late. I should really start doing these before my meetings. I have those sometimes due to my importance.

Our Top 25 Under 25 series continued yesterday with #15 Kirill Maksimov taking his lap in the spotlight in advance of #14 releasing this afternoon. Stay tuned over the weekend as well, as the party — like the T25 U25 — don’t stop for no Saturdays or Sundays.

We’re about two weeks away from Rookie Camp, so who might attend?

Oilers 2019 first-round draft pick Philip Broberg had a nice little end-to-end highlight yesterday.

The Bakersfield Condors profiled Evan Bouchard in the lead up to his first full professional season.

Otherwise, the biggest sports story I came across was that farce of a preseason NFL game in Winnipeg. That some people paid upwards of $400 for that is an absolute embarrassment. Especially given the travel pains of having to fly into another city first and taking a bus into the city. Yikes.

For Money

Pronman’s farm series keeps rolling. We’re on the precipice of the top 10, and still no Oilers. Worth remembering, Pronman was higher on Broberg than consensus, which may be a factor in their better-than-I’m-expecting ranking. (The Athletic)
