Good morning!

Another slow day in paradise, as August is in full effect.

Luckily for you, the reader, we just kicked off our annual Top 25 Under 25 series — starting yesterday with G Olivier Rodrigue — to help keep the boredom at bay. Come back just after lunch today to see who clocks in at #24!

The big club hasn’t had much to offer in terms of news in the past few days. There was a bit of buzz on the internet about the Flames being forced to look at ‘external options’ after one of their promising young D went down with a torn ACL. It kind of feels fitting to send a Cowboy back to the Saddledome (not my joke but PROVE IT), doesn’t it?

Otherwise, the news is brief so I’ll keep it as such. We’ll see you tomorrow.
