Good morning!

What an infinitely captionable photograph we chose today, wouldn’t you agree?

We are 24 hours closer to August, which means we are 24 hours closer to September, which means we are 24 hours closer to Training Camp, and so on.

Unfortunately, we are no closer to seeing the Oilers take proactive steps to head into this season with better than a bottom-five forward group... but it is only July, so it’s been suggested it’s too early to worry?

Hm, maybe I need a vacation. Moreso.

Anyway, today we’ve got some work on Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl’s ice time, a Dave Tippett interview, and a look at Mikko Koskinen’s season. We’ve included some good work on the James Neal / Milan Lucic swap, too - specifically about the conditional pick included in the deal.
